Domaine Hudson has been named Delaware’s only 2013 winner of OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards for Top 100 Wine Lists in the United States. With “a sip to suit every guest,” this award was earned from the feedback of more than five million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Only seven restaurants in the Delaware and Philadelphia areas earned Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence for 2013 – and Domaine Hudson is one of them. Noting a particular strength in French and Californian wines, this award recognizes Domaine Hudson’s quality selection of over 400 wines.

It’s a little gray out there today, so this week’s cocktail choice brings a little bit of the wild blue yonder in a glass. Our Drink of the Week pick is the Aviator, from Domaine Hudson in Wilmington. This cocktail blends Bluecoat gin, creme de violette, a little pomegranate syrup and cane sugar syrup, and a splash of lemon juice. Bartender Melinda Endicott shows us how it’s done.
